“Being up there has brought back very happy memories.”
Betty Buckland, a 93-year-old womanhas fulfilled her wish to to fly a light aircraft again. He has done so in a Cessna aircraft while flying over the skies of Edinburgh (Scotland). at an altitude of more than 600 meters.
The memories have been the great protagonists of the tripBetty used to travel to Seattle (United States) and there one of her cousins let her be at the controls of his plane. Betty recognizes that “being back in a small plane was exciting and brought back many happy memories”.
The residence in which Betty lives was the one who organized this outing after she wrote on the wishing treea Care UK’ initiative Where residents write down activities they would like to do, the immense illusion that they would like to fly a light aircraft again.
