Tesla under investigation for seat belt problems in its Model X

Not only are there headaches for Elon Musk at Twitter. Tesla, your electric car company, faces a new investigation.

U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, NHTSA is investigating a possible failure of seat belts in automobiles Tesla.

The Tesla Model X manufactured between 2022 and 2023 would potentially be affected, about 50 thousand units according to the research summary.

What exactly is going on with these Telsa?

The NHTSA received two recent complaints of seat belts being disconnected in Tesla Model X despite being used correctly.

Preliminary assessment has determined that in both cases the vehicles were delivered with an insufficient number of hooks to retain the seat belts.

This would be a problem with the assembly of the Tesla Model X, which sell for as low as $99,000.
