The IA achieved the VISTA X-62A takeoff for more than 17 hours in North American skies.
The feat
The flight is not from now, it is from December, but recently. Lockheed Martin made this feat public.
Through software, the AI mimicked the performance characteristics that a human would have at the controls of the aircraft, achieving this historic flight.

The program VIEW is not only working with this AI, but is also looking to develop voice command input system and virtual front display screens for other aircraft such as the F-35 Ligthning II.
Further testing
At the moment, the aircraft, a modified F-16D Block 30 Peace Marble II, has various features that they hope to continue to polish so that the aircraft can continue to fly autonomously.
The aircraft is currently undergoing inspection, after which it will resume flight.
