Go Ahead was awarded a penalty kick as early as the second minute after a foul by Josh Flint on Oliver Edvardsen. Stankovic turned away the effort from Willum Willumsson, who also missed a penalty last month.

Clumsy

Go Ahead then strung together chances, but needed a mistake by Volendam goalkeeper Filip Stankovic to make it 1-0 just before halftime. Stankovic clumsily passed the ball to Isac Lidberg, who seized the opportunity with both hands.

Edvardsen doubled the lead for the home team. After fine passes from Mats Deijl and Willumsson, the Norwegian headed the ball over Stankovic.

The afternoon got even worse for Stankovic. The Serbian let an easy to catch high ball slip out of his hands, after which Darío Serra was able to tap the ball in.
