Roma turns up the heat for Feyenoord with big home win, but misses penalty again

NOS Soccer–
AS Roma, like Feyenoord, won 3-0 this weekend. Four days before the mutual encounter in the quarterfinals of the Europa League, the Romans defeated Serie A midfielder Udinese on their own pitch.
Feyenoord defended a 1-0 lead in the Italian capital on Thursday, partly because Lorenzo Pellegrini shot a penalty against the post on behalf of Roma in the outward match.
Against Udinese, José Mourinho’s team also received a penalty kick and this time it was Bryan Cristante who banged against the post. But in the rebound it did hit, through Edoardo Bove.
Udinese also misses penalty
Pellegrini scored the 2-0 in the second half from a good attack, after which Georginio Wijnaldum and others went to the side. Substitute Tammy Abraham determined the final score, after Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio stopped another penalty by Roberto Pereyra.
Roma is third in Serie A because of the win, putting it on course to qualify for the Champions League.
That is becoming increasingly out of the picture for Juventus, after a defeat on visit to Sassuolo (1-0). The Old Lady have also already been deducted 15 points this season for multiple financial violations.
