FA puts English linesman on suspension after elbowing Robertson

NOS Football–
The English Football Association (FA) has barred linesman Constantine Hatzidakis from matches indefinitely. The referees’ board PGMOL is investigating the flagman, who allegedly elbowed Liverpool player Andy Robertson on Sunday.
The incident occurred at halftime of the ‘Reds’ meeting with Arsenal, which ended 2-2. After the halftime signal sounded, Robertson allegedly yelled something at the linesman. Hatzidakis then lashed out with his right elbow, hitting Robertson on the chin. At that, Robertson was shown a yellow card by referee Paul Tierney.

Until the investigation surrounding the incident is completed, Hatzidakis will not take his place along the line at English stadiums.
