Willem II recorded its third victory in a row in the first division. The Tilburgers climbed to fourth place thanks to a 2-0 win at low-flyer FC Den Bosch.

Through goals by Thijs Oosting (hard shot just before halftime) and Erik Schouten, a goal from the turn in the 63rd minute, Willem II took revenge for the club’s 2-1 home defeat earlier this season against Den Bosch.

Thanks to the win, Willem II reaches 53 points from 31 games. The club is already sure of a place in the playoffs and now hopes to get the best possible starting position for this nacompetition.

With seven rounds of play to go for Willem II, leaders PEC Zwolle (72 points) and number two Heracles Almelo (67) are now out of sight. The number one and two of the first division promote directly to premier league.
