At least 37 dead in fire at migrant center in Mexico

At least 37 migrants killed in fire at a National Migration Institute (INM) station. in Ciudad Juarez, on Mexico’s northern border, police sources confirmed.
In the area of the incident, near the Rio Bravo river that divides Mexico and the United States, the following could be appreciated. dozens of bags containing the corpses of migrants who perished in the fire.
Police are investigating the origin of this fire that caused the tragedy, as. the victims were trapped in one of the areas of the building where the fire originated.
According to local media, the fire broke out after authorities collected and transferred to that center about 71 migrants who were on the streets of the city.
The authorities have not issued an official statement on the incident, so it is expected to be the president, Andrés Manuel López Obradorwho will report on the case at his morning press conference.
