Tuchel succeeds sacked Nagelsmann at Bayern Munich

Thomas Tuchel succeeds the sacked Julian Nagelsmann as Bayern Munich coach. Tuchel was without a club after his dismissal from Chelsea last September.
The 48-year-old coach won the 2021 Champions League with Chelsea and previously worked at Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Mainz. Tuchel signed a contract at Bayern until mid-2025.
Nagelsmann’s resignation at Bayern came as a big surprise. ‘Der Rekordmeister’ is one point behind leaders Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. In the Champions League, Nagelsmann’s team impressed by eliminating PSG with conviction.
