Student shoots two workers at a Denver high school

A student on Wednesday shot and killed two at least two workers who have been injured at East High School in Denver (Colorado, United States), authorities have reported.

In the wake of the shooting at the school, another student had to be transported to the hospitalin addition to the injured, to be treated for a nervous breakdown.

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock explained to the press that. Police are still searching for the assailant and have appealed for no one to approach the area of the high school, as the attacker has a gun.

“He is armed, dangerous and willing to use the weapon.as we have seen this morning,” warned the mayor.

Hancock has detailed that one of the workers wounded by gunshot. is undergoing surgerywhile the other is stable, conscious and able to speak.

“We will do everything possible to ensure that The city remains united and our schools are safe.“, said the politician.

The debate on gun ownershipa right enshrined in the Constitution, was once again at the center of public opinion after last May’s shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, in which 19 children and two adults died.
