Injured De Jong and Bergwijn miss European Championship qualifiers Orange

NOS Soccer–
The Dutch national team will have to do without the injured Frenkie de Jong in the upcoming European Championship qualifiers with France and Gibraltar. Steven Bergwijn is also unavailable due to injury.
De Jong suffered a thigh injury in El Clásico against Real Madrid on Sunday. An mri-scan showed that he is not deployable for Oranje. Bergwijn suffered a knee injury Sunday in the Klassieker against Feyenoord.
National coach Ronald Koeman has called up Donyell Malen and Joey Veerman as replacements.
In particular, the absence of playmaker De Jong is a hefty setback, the national coach told his press conference.
