Dylano K. has received a three-month prison sentence, with one month suspended, for his attack on the Sevilla goalkeeper during a PSV match. The 20-year-old Roermond resident must serve his sentence immediately, with a probation period of two years.

In the closing stages of the match between PSV and Sevilla, the man came running onto the pitch. He tried to hit Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic, after which the Serbian goalkeeper worked him to the ground. Then the field stormer was removed from the field by stewards.

PSV expressed “deep shame” via a reaction on its website. Managing director Marcel Brands announced that he wants to recover the fine UEFA will impose from the perpetrator.

The perpetrator, who had a blood alcohol level of 1.6, was found to have already received two stadium bans from PSV and should not have been allowed access to the Philips Stadium.
