Play’n Go’s expansion into the US online casino market continues

For iGaming solutions provider Play’n Go, things seem to be going wonderfully well for its expansion into US jurisdictions. Indeed, the top Swedish firm has just been granted a license that allows it to offer its games in the US state of Connecticut as of now. So, Play’n Go’s expansion continues, and it’s not going to end anytime soon!

Play’n Go gets its fourth casino games license in the U.S.

The award of a license by the Connecticut regulator marks the fourth step in the conquest of the American market Play’n Go, a development studio that needs no introduction, has conquered the American market for online casino games.

Indeed, ever since Play’n Go landed its first North American license in the Canadian province of Ontario in 2022, the iGaming provider has had its eye on U.S. jurisdictions.

So, before getting the precious sesame in Connecticut, Play’n Go had its license applications approved by the U.S. state regulators of New Jersey, Michigan and West Virginia.

While Play’n Go’s video offerings are so far limited to major U.S. carriers, the provider plans to launch in the coming months more than 50 of its flagship slot machines in the relevant territories to meet the growing demand from US-based players.

“(…) Connecticut, an important step in our American adventure

Play’n Go’s business manager, Magnus Olsson, recently commented on the Connecticut government’s approval to issue a online gambling license to Play’n Go : ” Being able to take another step into a regulated U.S. market is important to the company. Connecticut will undoubtedly be an important step in Play’n Go’s American adventure. “.

And Magnus Olsson continues: ” Online gaming operators in the U.S. are increasingly looking to implement retention strategies to limit costly acquisitions, especially in the more high-profile markets of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Being able to offer our games in Connecticut is a strong signal to our competitors. It will certainly encourage more and more operators to trust Play’n Go “.

Our ambition is to be the best in regulated markets around the world. The Connecticut license is the twenty-fifth that we have been awarded. That means we are in as many regulated markets, and we don’t intend to stop there. “Magnus Olsson concludes. Play’n Go’s rivals have been warned.
