The driver of a stolen car ran over fatally struck a pedestrianbefore colliding with another vehicle and a row house in Baltimore (Maryland, USA), which immediately collapsed on top of the debris.

The events, captured on video, occurred on February 8, when the Police were attempting to arrest a man for the theft of a Hyundai. Sonata, authorities explain to U.S. media.

The Maryland Attorney General’s Office, in charge of investigating the incident, has released a video of the vehicle fleeing at full speed. and the subsequent accident that caused the life of a bystander.

The Hyundai first collided with another vehicle when he ran a red light, leading to ramming the pedestrian and crashing into the empty building which quickly fell to the ground and covered the cars with debris, as evidenced in the video.

Three injured

The fatality is a Baltimore resident, Alfred Fincher, age 54, was pronounced dead at the scene of the hit-and-run and the driver of the Hyundai was arrested by police, the attorney general’s office said.

The images show the officerss walking over the debris while yelling at the suspect to show his hands as he exits the car.

Police officers are also seen rushing to pull out the others trapped in the rubble. In addition to the two drivers, three other people were injured in the complex accident.reported CBS Baltimore.
