76 million profit, record 117 million in transfers

Ajax has presented the figures for the first half of fiscal year 2022/2023. Player sales produced a record result from transfers of 117.1 million.

Costs rose 1% to 97.9 million mainly due to an increase in salary costs and match-related expenses. Profit after tax for the first half of the year was 76.0 million, up from 2.5 million in season 2021/2022.

The result from transfers of players amounts to 117.1 million mainly due to the transfers of Antony Dos Santos and Lisandro Martínez to Manchester United and Sébastien Haller to Borussia Dortmund.
