Napoli wins easily over Sassuolo and remains proudly in the lead in Italy
Napoli thunders on in Serie A. A 2-0 victory in and against Sassuolo increases the Italian leader’s lead to eighteen points.
Pursuer Inter will be in action Saturday night against Udinese and can then reduce the deficit. Sassuolo remains in fifteenth place.
After twelve minutes it was already a goal for Napoli. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia picked up the ball near the center line, dribbled toward the goal and shot from sixteen yards.
The second Neapolitan goal was also fine. Striker Victor Osimhen turned away from a defender twenty minutes after the opening goal and shot into the short corner from the side. For the Nigerian, who is the top scorer in Serie A, it is already his eighteenth league goal this season.
