23 arrests around Spain-Italy soccer match in Enschede

Police arrested 23 people yesterday for disturbances surrounding the match between Spain and Italy in Enschede. After the end of the Nations League semi-final, the stadium became restless.
A group of persons was violent against stewards and police officers in and around the stadium. A number of stewards were injured as a result. The 23 persons have been arrested for open violence and are walking the track, RTV Oost reports.
Netherlands play against Italy
Enschede is one of the Nations League playing cities. A late goal gave Spain a 2-1 win over Italy.
Next Sunday, the Dutch will battle Italy for third place. That match is also in Enschede.
