Champions League winner Aké reports to Orange and receives applause

Nathan Aké was received with loud applause at the Oranje breakfast on Tuesday morning. The central defender won the Champions League with Manchester City last Saturday, today he joined the Dutch national team for the Nations League semifinal against Croatia.
On Monday night Aké was honored in Manchester with his City teammates for winning the Champions League. Afterwards he flew to Schiphol airport.
Internazionale – where Dutch national Denzel Dumfries started – won 1-0 on Saturday night.
Dumfries already joined
So for Dumfries, who was substituted after 75 minutes by Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, the final ended in a major minor. The winger has now also joined Ronald Koeman’s selection.

Champions League winner Aké gets applause from Orange players
Matthijs de Ligt is out. The Bayern Munich defender suffered a calf injury in training on Saturday and will miss the semi-final match against Croatia. He will also not be available for Sunday’s final or match for third place.
Daley Blind is his replacement.
