Ibrahimovic (41) gone from Milan, it appears after leaked message: ‘Godbye Zlatan’

NOS Football–
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is leaving AC Milan. The Swedish vedette will no longer receive a new contract at the top Italian club.
Given his age (41), injuries and therefore his limited share in AC Milan’s successes this season, this decision is not so shocking. What is striking, however, is the way the news came out.
Days before the home game with Hellas Verona, the necessary preparations were made, with the farewell message “Godbye Zlatan” leaked to Ibrahimovic.
The club subsequently confirmed the farewell of its vedette, who returned to AC Milan in early 2020 with last season’s national title as the absolute highlight.
Zlatan wants to move on
Ibrahimovic, still an international and Sweden’s all-time top scorer, revealed earlier this week to La Gazzetta dello Sport already know he is not finished as a footballer. “I’m not thinking of quitting yet, because I think I still have something to give,” he said.
In the four league games in which he has made minutes this season, he exploited a penalty against Udinese. As a result, Ibrahimovic is now the oldest ever goalscorer in Serie A. In the past, he also scored for Malmö, Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Manchester United and LA Galaxy.
