‘In talks, but not signed yet’

NOS Football–
Henk Fraser is emphatically in the picture to become the new coach of RKC Waalwijk. The Brabanders, surprisingly eighth in the premier league, are looking for a new coach for next season because Joseph Oosting is leaving for FC Twente.
Various media report that Fraser has already signed a contract with RKC, but it is not that far yet, the 56-year-old coach reports to NOS: “Am indeed in talks, but not signed yet.”
Departure from Utrecht
Fraser started this season as head coach at his “dream club” FC Utrecht (he played as a footballer in the Domstad, but also at Feyenoord, Sparta Rotterdam and Roda JC), but it was not a success. Results were poor and his tenure ended when he grabbed Amin Younes by the throat at a training session.
Utrecht spoke of transgressive behavior and Fraser subsequently packed up. He had previously been trainer of ADO Den Haag, Vitesse and Sparta Rotterdam.

How does Fraser look back on leaving Utrecht? ‘Club could not do otherwise’
