Depay starts solo on own half and scores beautifully on his comeback

Memphis Depay graced his return to the fields with a very nice goal. The Atlético Madrid international started a solo on his own half, outplayed three men and then shot the ball past the goalkeeper as well.

Depay returned to the soccer field after more than a month, the first time since dropping out of the Dutch national team’s match against Gibraltar with a hamstring injury.

Coach Diego Simeone let him play the last ten minutes against Real Valladolid. The score was then 2-3 in favor of the Madrilenians. Depay determined the final score at 2-5 with his goal.

Atlético Madrid returns to two points from city rival Real Madrid with the win. Barcelona still leads generously.
