The Last of Us, the second season of the HBO TV series will be released in April

At Sony’s CES 2025 panel, which left room for announcements of a Ghost of Tsushima: Legends anime and the Horizon Zero Dawn and Helldivers movies, PlayStation Productions and HBO showed a new trailer for the second season of the TV series of The Last of Us, also confirming the release set for April.
“After five years of peace following the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up with them, dragging them into conflict with each other and into a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind,” is the brief official description of The Last of Us’ 2023 sequel, which is set to be decidedly more dramatic than the first season.
Early last year, the production team for the second season of The Last of Us unveiled some of the new actors in the cast. We know that Kaitlyn Dever will take the role of Abby, while Young Mazino will be Jesse, accompanied by Isabela Merced as Dina, Catherine O’Hara, Danny Ramirez, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord. Of course, stars Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy and Rutina Wesley as Maria will return.
The second season of The Last of Us will arrive on Sky in April.
