Twisted Metal, the TV series will receive a second season

On stage at The Game Awards 2023, Anthony Mackie announced that the TV series of Twisted Metal, released this year on Peacock in the United States, will soon receive a second season.

Unfortunately, we have no other details for the time being, so we will have to wait some time before we know more about a possible release and new characters.

The Twisted Metal series is made by Peacock and stars Anthony Mackie as John Doe, a driver who transports supplies between settlements in a post-apocalyptic America. He has no memory of his past, but has a chance for a better life by making a special delivery across a dangerous landscape.

Other characters include Sweet Tooth, voiced by Will Arnett and played by professional wrestler Samoa Joe. The cast also includes Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Richard Cabral, Tahj Vaughans, and Neve Campbell. The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions and is the second TV adaptation of a first-party PlayStation game to debut in 2023 after The Last of Us.
