Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, first trailer for Netflix animated series

During the Drop 01 event held this afternoon, Netflix showed the first trailer for the long-awaited Tomb Raider animated series.

Titled Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, this series is coming soon to the streaming platform and will feature Hayley Atwell as Lara Croft. There are not yet many details about the series at the moment, but Netflix said that “based on the hugely popular action-adventure video game franchise born in 1996 and created by British developer Core Design, the anime will follow the journey of Square Enix’s Croft and is set after the events of the reboot released from 2013 to 2018.”

Speaking of Tomb Raider, it was recently announced that the first three games in the series will receive a remastered in 2024 curated by Aspyr. In addition, the next main game in the series, about which we currently have no details, will be published by Amazon Games. Amazon, by the way, is working on its own Tomb Raider TV series and movie.
