Arcane, the second season will be released next winter according to Tencent

The anticipation for the next season of the animated series of Arcane is still a long way off, at least according to what the Chinese company Tencent has revealed.

At the 2024 Video V Vision Conference event held in recent days in China, the parent company of Riot Games announced that the second season of the League of Legends TV series is expected to be released on Netflix in winter 2024, thus more than a year from now. While we do not yet have a confirmation from Netflix or an exact release date, there is speculation that the second season of Arcane may be released in November 2024, the same month as the first season and in the game’s 15th anniversary year.

The second season of Arcane was announced in November 2021 during Riot Games’ two-day Undercity Nights event, just two weeks after the release of the first season. It was also previously reported that Arcane 2 definitely will not be released this year. The series is in production at Riot Games and Fortiche Productions, an animation house that the League of Legends studio has invested in and will work with on other projects.
