The Witcher, second official trailer for Season 3 of Netflix TV series
There are very few days left until the release of the second part of the third season of the Netflix TV series of The Witcher, and this afternoon the streaming platform released the second official trailer following the one shown in June.
In this clip, which you can see below dubbed in Italian, we can see what would appear to be the beginning of a bloody new war. At one point, the sword of Geralt of Rivia, played for the last time by Henry Cavill, shatters in battle, suggesting that his new villainous foe is a tough cookie. The video closes with someone exclaiming, “You’ll never be able to go back.”
In The Witcher Season 3, as the monarchs, wizards, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri (Freya Allan) into hiding, determined to protect his newly reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to discover more about the girl’s unexpressed powers; instead, they find they have ended up in a battleground of political corruption, dark magic and betrayal. They must fight back, putting everything on the line or risk losing themselves forever.
The second part of the third season of The Witcher will arrive on July 27.
