NEC tastemaker Tannane trades premier league for Qatari club Umm Salal

NOS Football–
Oussama Tannane is leaving NEC. The midfielder still had a contract in Nijmegen until next summer, but has signed a deal with Qatari club Umm Salal.
Tannane had been playing in Nijmegen service since last season. The 29-year-old playmaker scored 6 goals in 25 premier league matches. He stood out mainly for his inimitable actions on the ball, but with his temperamental behavior he also sometimes made a name for himself in other ways.
In the Gelderland derby against his old club Vitesse, he picked up a direct red card after a slapping move towards Kacper Kozlowski.
Ninth club
Umm Salal will be Tannane’s ninth club. Before his time at NEC, he played in the Netherlands at sc Heerenveen, Heracles Almelo, FC Utrecht and Vitesse.
Abroad, he already played for Saint-Étienne (France), Las Palmas (Spain) and Göztepe (Turkey).
