Tupac’s father blames U.S. government for his son’s death

Even to this day, which is almost 27 years later – the shooting took place on the 7th and the death on September 13, 1996, Tupac Shakur’s crime is labeled ‘Unsolved’. Although there are already multiple theories as to who was the person behind the shooting that ended the rapper’s life, his father, Billy Garland, has added another: the U.S. government.

In an interview he gave to the Youtube channel. The Art of DialogueGarland has declared himself a follower of one of the conspiracy theories that would place the country’s leaders in the crosshairs of his investigations, stating that he believes wholeheartedly that it was from high places that his son’s assassination was ordered.

Those who are fans of 2Pac, as he was known, will have already heard the story. According to the most widespread version, the rapper and other members of his entourage and his label, Death Row Records, had clashed with Orlando Anderson, another famous rapper but a member of a gang with whom there was quite a rivalry, after a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon in Las Vegas. The latter would have returned hours later and followed Tupac’s car until he shot him.

Billy has condemned his son’s behavior that night, explaining that Tupac felt a need to prove himself to the Death Row team and especially to Suge Knight, founder and CEO of the company, who was also in the car, although he was not hit by bullets.

For Billy, for Knight to allow his golden goose to be at the forefront of any fray was a totally irresponsible act, but he refuses to think that it was Orlando who did the shooting, since none of the evidence found was conclusive.

In fact, he does not believe the palarbas of Orlando’s uncle, Keefe D, who has been implicating his nephew and himself in the shooting for years. In fact, Billy believes that his self-deletion is part of another master plan. “Well, I think the key point is the government.” he has assured.

“The government offered him (Keffe D) the deal.”(Tupac). He was being followed by agents the night of his assassination, as he was also being followed at Quad Studios. That’s a well-known fact,” said Billy, who did not detail the government’s reasons for killing the rapper.

“I don’t know this guy, Keffe. Maybe he was forced to say that to solve some (economic) problems. I don’t know. I just know that it sounded like a set-up to me. Somebody would tell him to stay there and, with the whole Death Row thing, we’ve come to what we have now. But I don’t think he had anything to do with my son’s death. Not at all,” he finished.
