Country champions Napoli appoint Garcia to succeed Spalletti

Napoli have found a successor to Luciano Spalletti in the person of Rudi Garcia. The French coach had been out of work since April following his departure from Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo is under contract.
The Italian national champion previously could not reach an agreement with success coach Spalletti, who announced he was taking a sabbatical.
New man Garcia was previously coach of Lille, AS Roma, Olympique Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais, among others.
