After leaving Fortuna, Yilmaz (37) decides to quit professional football altogether

After leaving Fortuna Sittard, Burak Yilmaz (37) has now decided to end his professional soccer career altogether. The 77-time Turkey international said so at a press conference this afternoon.
Yilmaz made the switch from Lille to Fortuna Sittard last summer. In Limburg, he signed a five-year contract. Yilmaz came to 26 games, in which he was good for nine goals.
At the end of May, Yilmaz already announced via Instagram that he was leaving Fortuna for good. The club from Sittard confirmed last weekend that Yilmaz is leaving.
