Sonic Prime, new episodes coming to Netflix on July 13

Sonic Prime, the latest animated series of SEGA’s home-grown blue hedgehog, arrived on the Netflix streaming platform last December. Given the progress of the story, a second season had already been virtually confirmed, and SEGA and Netflix themselves revealed earlier this year that new episodes would be released during 2023.

Well, with a tweet posted in recent hours by the official Sonic the Hedgehog account, SEGA announced that new Sonic Prime episodes will be available on Netflix starting July 13. The Japanese company did not say exactly how many episodes will arrive on that date, but either way, this is good news for fans.

The cast of Sonic Prime includes Deven Mack as Sonic, Brian Drummond as Eggman, Ashleigh Ball as Tails, Shannon Chan-Kent as Amy Rose, Adam Nurada as Knuckles, and Ian Hanlin as Shadow and Big the Cat.

Sonic Prime is available on Netflix.
