Olympique Lyonnais women have won the French Cup, the Coupe de France Feminin, for the tenth time. They won 2-1 over Paris Saint-Germain through two goals by Ada Hegerberg. For PSG, Ramona Bachmann scored.

Four Orange internationals competed in the final match. Daniëlle van de Donk and Damaris Egurrola had a starting place at Lyon. At PSG, Lieke Martens was replaced by Jackie Groenen.

The devil was at the beginning of the final, played at the Stade de la Source in Orleans. Norway’s top striker Hegerberg shot brilliantly from distance in the 12th minute. Eleven minutes later, she doubled the score by sliding the ball in from close range.

Thanks to a penalty that was utilized, still in the first half, by Swiss vedette Ramona Bachmann, things still got exciting.

PSG gave chase, especially when they found themselves with a woman more after a red card for Egurrola (twice yellow), seven minutes before time. Yet the win for Lyon was no longer in danger.
