Coveted Bellingham leads Dortmund to 6-0 win: Bundesliga remains exciting

NOS Soccer–
Borussia Dortmund have not yet given up hope of the German national title. After a swinging 6-0 win over VfL Wolfsburg, Dortmund is again approaching frontrunner Bayern Munich, which won at Werder Bremen a day earlier, to one point. There are still three duels to go in the Bundesliga.
The lead went to Jude Bellingham with two fine goals. His first was the most beautiful. The Englishman received the ball halfway through his own half, dribbled forward, outplayed his opponent and took a shot from distance with his left. The goalkeeper turned the effort out of the top corner, but saw the ball disappear into the goal after a bounce.
Teenage sensation Bellingham is on the wish list of just about every top club. It was revealed this week via Spain’s Marca that Real Madrid have the best papers to welcome the English midfielder after the summer.
Malen striking again
Donyell Malen, so on target in recent weeks, made it 3-0 in Dortmund. Thanks to Julian Brandt, the Dutchman was able to shoot in from close range in front of an empty goal. His seventh goal in his last seven Bundesliga games, in which he also provided three assists.
The other goals were scored by Karim Adeyemi (two), who also missed a penalty kick, and former Ajax player Sébastien Haller. At Wolfsburg, Junior defender Micky van de Ven had a starting place at the back.
