Truck driver wins lottery for the third time in a year using the same number
To hit the lottery once is incredibly difficult. To win it twice is almost impossible. But if it happens to you three times, and in less than a year, it’s practically a miracle.
This is what has happened to a truck driver from Maryland (United States), who in the space of eleven months has won the state lottery three times, and on all three occasions thanks to the same number.
The 52-year-old man, who prefers to remain anonymous, won the prize of $50,000 (about 45,000 euros). three times since May 2022.
The lucky player placed a $1 straight bet on the number 48548, the same number he used for two tickets he bought in a drawing for the May 18 last year.
“We won last year and we won again. My wife said to me: ‘Let’s play this number’ and we kept winning with it.”the truck driver told the Maryland Lottery.
As to what he is going to do with the money he won, the anonymous player stated that the first thing he is going to do is to. take a vacation with his wife.
