Shigeru Miyamoto is interested in making more Nintendo series movies in the future

The Japanese website Nikkei (via Nintendo Everything) recently published an article about the Super Mario Bros. movie, which has only just arrived in Japanese theaters, which contains some words from Shigeru Miyamoto concerning the future projects of Nintendo.
After asking fans to stand by for what is coming next, Miyamoto hinted that new films are not at all unlikely. “Nintendo is like a talent agency. We have many more entertainers,” he said. Although he did not add further details, Miyamoto added, “There are many viable avenues, such as using characters suitable for movies or well-known characters.”
Nintendo has many franchises available that it may choose to turn into movies in the future. Speaking of the Mario franchise, it is possible that other characters such as Luigi could have a starring role (who knows, maybe a Luigi’s Mansion movie could be possible?). Fans also point to a series like The Legend of Zelda as a possible one for a film adaptation.
Earlier this month Miyamoto and Illumination’s Chris Meladandri expressed support for continuing to work together in the future, so do you know what could be coming?
