PSV defender Armando Obispo has had surgery on his knee and is out for a long period of time, according to his club. It is not known how long Obispo will be out of action, but according to the Eindhoven side, he will have to miss the rest of this season.
Obispo was injured in the closing stages of the game against Vitesse (1-1) on March 19. He was still able to walk off the pitch under his own power, but eventually turned out to have suffered a major injury.
PSV’s youth product played 22 league games this season, in which he scored twice and gave an assist once.
