Super Mario Bros. The Movie, a post-credits scene could hint at a sequel according to Chris Pratt

In a new interview with CBR, Chris Pratt, Super Mario’s voice actor, revealed that Super Mario Bros. The Movie has a post-credits scene that could hint at a potential sequel.
During the interview Pratt and Charlie Day were asked if they would like to see a sequel to the film, due out in theaters in April, with the interviewer joking that it might be based on Mario Golf. “Look,” Pratt replied, “at the end of the movie there’s a post-credits sequence that gives you a taste of what the sequel could be. And that makes me very, very excited.” He added, “There has been talk about Luigi’s Mansion. It was a Gamecube game. I think it would be great.”
Speaking to ExtraTV, Pratt had previously expressed his interest in seeing a sequel to the Super Mario movie. “You’ve seen the movie. It really honors the video game, the world of Mario, and it’s very promising about what we could expect in the next 10 years, like a whole universe of this kind of movie.”
“They’re super nostalgic, they’re a lot of fun, it’s Illumination and so they know what they’re doing, and it’s great because-especially for me, now that I have kids, I have to see every animated film, whether it’s good or not, so I’m really grateful when a great animated film comes out. And hopefully there will be more.”
Super Mario Bros. The Movie will be released in Italian theaters on April 6. Have you seen the latest Italian-language trailer?
