4-year-old boy dies after shooting himself in head with gun in Florida

A four-year-old boy died in Florida (United States) after he shot himself in the head with a accidentally shooting himself in the head last Thursday, as reported in the Mirror.

The small Michael Bragg Jr. was found with a gunshot wound between the eyes in a car in Kissimmee, Florida, according to police records. He was transported to a hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

The boy was apparently in the car with his father and a third person of unknown identity. Both fell asleep And it was the pistol shot that woke them up.

The little boy’s mother, Ebony Davis, said she had dropped her son off with his father the day before and expected to pick him up the next day. She had no idea anything was wrong until a detective called her and asked her to go to the local police station.

The officers said the father, Michael Bragg Sr, 32, changed his story several times when questioned by police, but finally confessed to possessing a gun for protective purposes.

A Glock .22 and a 9mm pistol were recovered from a suitcase nearby at his home and the Glock had traces of blood on it. Police arrested the father for possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.
