The books The Snow Girl y The game of the soul by the Malaga writer Javier Castillo will be published in English in the United States on April 11 and June 26.respectively, following the success that the first of them has had in being adapted into a television series by the Netflix platform.

As reported Thursday by Castillo’s publisher, Suma de Letras, on March 28th will go on sale The snow girl with the title The Snow Girl in format ebook, and on April 11 it will arrive in print and audiobook format.

For its part, on June 26 it will be the turn of The game of the soul– in the English version, The Soul Game in all formats (paper, ebook and audiobook). Both titles will be published by Penguin Random House’s Grupo Books imprint.

“Publishing in the U.S. is one of those almost impossible steps for European authors, and doing so with Miren, my most special character, I couldn’t be more excited“said the author.

Castillo’s work has been translated into 18 languages. and is already distributed in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Portugal, Poland, Turkey, Czech Republic, Korea, Ukraine, Romania, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Iran, Macedonia and Slovakia, as well as in all Latin American countries. Specifically, in Italy, Castillo, through the Salani publishing house, has already sold more than 30,000 copies of The Snow Girl.

This spring will also see the publication of The Snow Girl, La Petite Fille sous la neige, in Francewith the group Albin Michel, which will take Castillo to the literary festival Quais du Polarwhich will be held from March 31 to April 1.

Finally, in the Netherlandsthe Meulenhoff Boekerij publishing house, which publishes authors such as Stephen King and Michael Connelly, has just published this week The Snow Girl under the name The Templeton Case.
