Women ADO and PSV firmly in subtop, Telstar wins basement cracker of Alkmaar

In the premier league, PSV’s women won 4-0 over bottom-placed Excelsior. ADO Den Haag won even more generously, coach Sjaak Polak’s team making five in and against Heerenveen.
With these victories by the numbers four (ADO) and five (PSV) of the league table, the teams are now approaching the top three. The gap with Fortuna Sittard is still three points for Fortuna, PSV is four points behind at spot three.
For PSV, Joëlle Smits and Zera Hulswit both scored twice. For ADO, Jaimy Ravensbergen and Liz Rijsbergen were two goal scorers.
The match between numbers 9 and 10 of the league table was won by Telstar. The team from Velsen won 2-1 at vv Alkmaar thanks to a late goal by Dominique Bruinenberg. With that victory both teams are now on 11 points from fifteen games. That is six more than bottom-placed Excelsior.
