Dead by Daylight, a horror movie is in production: to be made by Behaviour Interactive, Atomic Monster and Blumhouse

Behaviour Interactive announced (via Variety) that it is working together with Atomic Monster and Blumhouse on a horror film of the multiplayer game Dead by Daylight.
There are no other details on this project yet as the three companies are still looking for a director and screenwriter, but it has been confirmed that James Wan, CEO of Atomic Monster, Jason Blum, CEO of Blumhouse, will be among the producers along with Stephen Mulrooney, vice president of Behaviour Interactive.

Atomic Monster founder and CEO James Wan added, “In ‘Dead by Daylight,’ the Behaviour team has created a love letter to the world of horror, building an incredible environment full of atmosphere and terrifying villains, perfect for a scary film adaptation. We at Atomic Monster are big fans of the game and are excited to partner with Blumhouse to bring this frighteningly visceral world to the big screen.”
