“It doesn’t look like a joke to sell face masks.”

Valencian surgeon Pedro Cavadas, considered one of the best doctors in the world according to the Forbes list, warned in January 2020 of everything that was happening with Covid-19 in China and the serious consequences that it would have for mankind, according to ABC.
Cavadas explained that the Covid-19 outbreak could cause a pandemic that would “decimate the world’s population.” In the face of these claims, he was labeled as “alarmist” or “propagator of hoaxes”.
A contagious and aggressive virus
In January 2020, after seeing images coming from China of a virus spreading among the population, Cavadas predicted the seriousness of Covid-19. “It is a virus that is easily spread and is very aggressive.“, he assured at the time.
Despite the fact that the World Health Organization (WHO) ruled out the global spread of the virus, the Spanish doctor warned that “when a hospital is built with 800 100-ton backhoes and a ‘megahospital’ is built in three weeks it is not a joke”.

In response to the data coming from the Chinese government, which reported 170 deaths and more than 7,000 contagions, Cavadas replied that “you don’t have to be very clever to think that son ten or a hundred times more”.
“Instead of one hospital, they are making eight. They must have a good reason, because it doesn’t look like a joke to sell face masks“, commented Cavadas, who always made it clear that he was not an expert in epidemiology.
The origin of the virus
The director of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Wray, also believes that the pandemic originated by the covid-19 virus was caused by “probably” by a leak in a laboratory in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the source of the disease.
“I will only make the observation that the Chinese government, it seems to me, has been doing everything possible to try to frustrate and obfuscate the work. that’s being done here, the work that we’re doing, the work that our U.S. government and close foreign partners are doing. And that’s unfortunate for everybody,” the security official added.
Wray’s comments come after the U.S. Department of Energy concluded that covid-19 “very likely” will be originated in a Chinese laboratoryaccording to a report published by the newspaper The Wall Street Journal.
