Putin has already lost the war in Ukraine
Vladimir Putin has already “lost” the Ukrainian war and paid “a huge price on the battlefield.”according to a top U.S. general. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley admitted during a press conference on Tuesday that Putin “thought he could defeat Ukraine quickly, fracture the NATO alliance and act with impunity. He was wrong,” as reported by The Mirror.
The top U.S. general sharply criticized Moscow for launching an illegal and unprovoked attack on Ukraine that has made it pay for Russia a “huge battlefield price”.“. On the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, he revealed that Russia is now a “global pariah.”
“Russia Is now a global pariah and the world is still inspired by the courage and endurance Ukrainian. In short, Russia has lost: it has lost strategically, operationally and tactically,” Milley added.
The comments come after the UK Chief of the Defense Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radaki, admitted in December that “Russia is losing.” and that “the free world is winning”.
After Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, it was expected to conquer Kiev within a few days.but the Russian forces failed, as Ukrainian troops counterattacked and put up more resistance than the Kremlin had anticipated. With the help of weapons supplied by the West, Ukraine was able to try to defend its territory.
