Super Mario Bros. The Movie, released the official poster

We are two months away from the release of Super Mario Bros. in Italian theaters, and Nintendo has published in recent hours the official poster for the Illumination film.

The poster, which you can take a look at right below, features the film’s main characters, including Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Donkey Kong and Toad. The characters divide the two worlds that will be shown in the film: one is Bowser’s, filled with volcanoes, lava and sparks, and one is the one led by Peach where Toad dwells.

Super Mario Bros. Movie is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, and stars Chris Pratt as our favorite plumber, namely Super Mario. The film’s cast also includes Charlie Day (Pacific Rim) as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit) as Princess Peach, Jack Black (School of Rock) as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key (Toy Story 4) as Toad, and Seth Rogan (Pineapple Express) as Donkey Kong.

The Super Mario Bros. animated film will be released worldwide in spring 2023, on April 28 in Japan, April 7 in North America, and April 6 in Italy.
