Maria Pew didn’t walk away from her Maple Grove, Minnesota home, and vanish like her husband, Joshua David Fury, told police. Now, the murderous husband admits he choked her and watched her breathing on the floor, before placing a plastic bag over her head and securing it with duct tape, according to Law and Crime. To hide his grisly crime, he then dug a 3-foot grave and hid her body in it, later faking her disappearance by reporting his wife missing. People reports Joshua Fury pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. The controlling and possessive man now faces a 38-year prison sentence. Why did he do it? Maria Pew Weimelt told him during an argument she wanted to leave him. Of course, his guilty admission does nothing to ease her relatives’ pain. The Minnesota woman’s family stated “4 million months” in prison wouldn’t do a thing to bring their loving and kind Maria back to them. They want her case to shine a brighter light on domestic violence and domestic abuse in relationships.
