While at the peak of his pro basketball career, NBA player Bison Dele abruptly retires and determines to enjoy life with his girlfriend, Serena, aboard his coveted yacht. But when the couple disappears at sea, investigators must disentangle a nautical mystery.

A Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous

As one of the highest-paid NBA ballplayers, Bison Dele lived the good life, and his golden slam dunks made women swoon. In the end, a peaceful life on the gorgeous waters of Tahiti with his girlfriend was all he wanted. Murder in the Thirst: “Who Killed the Big Baller?” describes how Bison Dele grew up poor but became a millionaire. Not everyone was happy for him. Someone was thirsty for his celebrity lifestyle and wanted to steal it for themselves.

After Bison and Serena vanished, police recovered the bullet-riddled catamaran and knew something fishy had happened. An attempt to purchase over $100,000 in gold coins, led police to his shady brother Miles Dabord.

Murder in the Thirst: “Who Killed the Big Baller?” airs on BET Television on Sundays at 10/9 p.m. Central. Two weeks ago, the case of Bison Dele, Serena Karlan, and Miles Dabord aired on ID’s documentary. Find out what happened to their bodies in our next article.
