Robert Earl Butts, Jr., killed Donovan Corey Parks in Georgia over twenty years ago. Next month, he’s scheduled to die for it. According to CBS-47, the forty-year-old death row inmate requested a rib-eye steak, a bacon cheeseburger, a strawberry lemonade, and fries and chicken tenders for his last meal. Robert Earl Butts will die by lethal injection for the murder of Donovan Corey Parks, a 24-year-old man from Milledgeville, who was shot in the back of the head in March of 1996.
Prosecutors say it was after 10 p.m. when Donovan Corey Parks walked out of Walmart and was approached by nineteen-year-old teens Robert Earl Butts and Marion ‘Murdock’ Wilson. They tricked Parks into giving them a ride. Later, they made him stop on a dark road (Felton Road), where they shot him and left him lying face down in a pool of blood.

Police say after the ruthless teens killed the victim, they stole his wallet and his car. Police later located the 1992 Acura Vigor burning on the road behind Huddle House. Court records show Wilson and Butts were members of the Folks Gang.
Robert Earl Butts Jr is scheduled for execution on May 3 at 7 p.m. Meanwhile, Marion ‘Murdock’ Wilson, now 41-years-old, remains on death row at the Georgia Diagnostic Classification Prison.
