Victoria Tutson was gunned down as she rode in a vehicle days ago, and her family members are no closer to justice. Police need your help identifying a person driving a silver SUV on September 26, at around 11:00 p.m., close to Northwest 17th Avenue and 65th Street. Authorities say Victoria Tutson, 30, was riding in the car with a man when shots fired out of nowhere and struck her multiple times, Local-10 reported.

According to police, the male driver of the car was not hurt and is cooperating with investigators. Victoria Tutson was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Grief-stricken family members are pleading with the public for information, believing someone knows something about her death. Victoria Tutson’s sister, Shakurah Tutson, said Victoria is the mother of four children ages 5 to 12.

“We have nothing right now. She loved her children. She loved her children. So we just want to get justice. We couldn’t do anything for her when this happened. What we are trying to do right now is get justice.”

Clarence Tutson, Victoria’s father, told CBS-Miami the family is torn apart and that his daughter was the fiber that held the family together. He said nothing will ever be the same again.

Shooting At Vigil

According to the Miami Heraldshots rang out at a candlelight vigil that was held in Victoria Tutson’s memory on Tuesday, October 3, at around 9 p.m. Authorities say someone started firing in the 2000 block of Northwest 65th Street. Three people were injured in that incident but are expected to survive.

It was a shocking turn of events for Victoria Tutson’s friends and relatives. The details of the murder are similar to the story of Tiffany Bailey, a young black Atlanta mother who was shot and killed in her own home in 2015. At her funeral, shots were fired outside. At first, it appeared Tiffany was the target of a botched home invasion. It was later determined that the killer was her boyfriend, Deuntay Grier.

In the case of Victoria Tutson, people are afraid to come forward, and few people are talking about the case on social media. Still, police and the family need someone to tell what they know. Anonymous phone calls can be made to Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
