Hallmark Channel Harvest Love Movie Synopsis

Small town farm life appeals to some people. And it sure charms Seattle surgeon Luna Gilson. With the recent death of her husband, the young widow keeps herself busy by working long hours and picking up extra hospital shifts on call. However, the hectic life does nothing to help with the grief. Deciding to take some time to be with her nine-year-old son, Andy, and reconnect with family seems like the best option.

In Hallmark’s Harvest Love, The beautiful farms of Washington state provide a relaxing setting for Luna and her son to unwind. Luna knows what’s in store for Andy, and she can’t wait to show him the family’s lush pear farm.

Meanwhile, Hallmark introduces viewers to the romance between Luna and the handsome curly-haired farmer named Will. The two meet for the first time on a bridge, where their cars almost collide. Later, Luna sees the handsome stranger again on her family’s private property and tries to boot him off after seeing him picking fruit.

To her surprise, Luna learns that Will is the farm manager. As they become acquainted, sparks fly, and the tender moments that follow include family trips to the carnival and other fall activities. The longer Luna stays on the pear farm, the more she falls in love with Will and the quaint surroundings.

Throughout the TV movie, Harvest Love provides all the fall favorites like red-candied apples, basket tosses, hayrides, and carnivals. Hallmark does a wonderful job of highlighting the importance of enjoying the little things in life with the ones we love.

Hallmark Channel went behind the scenes with the movie’s main stars Jen Lilley and Ryan Paevey, who said they loved working together on the set. Harvest Love was filmed on a real pear and apple orchard. Producers kept the apples hidden. Jen Lilley and Ryan Paevey had no problem picking the fruit. According to Paevey, they both have backgrounds in physical labor.

Harvest Love is produced by Crown Media Productions with Lincoln Lageson as the executive producer. The movie premieres on Hallmark Channel this Saturday, September 30, at 9/8 p.m. Central. Watch the Harvest Love movie trailer below.
