Brandon Roy: Former NBA Player Shot In The Leg In Compton, California


Former NBA player Brandon Roy was reportedly shot in the leg while attending an outside event, according to TMZ Sports. The incident went down last weekend in Compton, California, when shots started to fire. Witnesses say  Brandon was shielding children from gun range when he was shot in the leg. It is suspected the shooting was gang related and that Roy was just an innocent bystander. Roy was taken to a nearby hospital in Southern California and is now recovering in Washington.  Two other people were reportedly injured from the gun shots but are still alive.

Cops are investigating who was involved in the shooting.
